A Winter Poem
Winter is on its way, a chill is in the air.
Untamed winds are coldly blowing, the trees are now all bare.
Winter woods, a starry night, snowcapped mountains, the world is white.
Tis the season is upon us
Shorter days and longer nights.
Children sipping hot cocoa.
candy canes delight.
Christmas music playing.
bedtime stories, goodnight.

no boy is worth compromising your values
you must let him go.

You're dreaming of love and how it is supposed to be
It is not love if he says, "you would" if you loved me.

You know the type
He's the boy all the girls adore...
he's not worth the hype.
Beautiful girl
His eyes are as blue as the Maldives sea
He's enchanting like harp strings, a soft summer breeze.
If you stick around him, soon you will see.
His lips are like the venom of a poisonous snake.
His soul is callous
His smile is fake.
When his mask comes off
discarded, you will be
He will have moved on to another beautiful girl
like you, like me.
This I write to you beautiful girl
This is something you need to know
Your life is worth so much more
then being a puppet in some careless boys show.
